Profil Pengetahuan Terkait Penyakit Sistem Pernafasan Kronis pada Perokok Aktif Knowledge Profile Related to Chronic Respiratory System Diseases in Active Smokers

Abstract
Pendahuluan: Rokok merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian tertinggi di dunia maupun di Indonesia. Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronik (PPOK) merupakan risiko tinggi bagi perokok aktif. Pengetahuan dini terkait kondisi paru diperlukan untuk mencegah terjadinya penurunan fungsi paru. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan penyakit sistem pernapasan kronik pada perokok aktif di Karang Taruna distrik waibu. Metodologi: Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional dari April sampai Juli 2022. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yaitu kuisioner kesehatan fungsi paru yang terdiri dari tiga kategori: faktor risiko, gejala, dan terapi gangguan pernapasan. Hasil: Jumlah reponden penelitian yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini yaitu 64 partisipan. Kategori Faktor risiko gangguan pernapasan memiliki tingkat pengetahuan baik dengan 41 responden (64,1%). Kategori gejala gangguan pernapasan memiliki tingkat pengetahuan baik dengan 34 responden (53,1%). Kategori pengobatan dan terapi gangguan pernapasan memiliki tingkat pengetahuan cukup dengan 43 responden (67,2%). Total tingkat pengetahuan baik sebanyak 39 responden (60,94%), tingkat pengetahuan cukup 23 responden (35,94%), dan tingkat pengetahuan kurang 2 responden (3,12%). Kesimpulan: Tingkat pengetahuan faktor risiko gangguan pernapasan dan gejala gangguan pernapasan adalah baik, serta pengobatan dan terapi gangguan pernapasan adalah cukup.
