Analisis Faktor Risiko Diare Akut pada Balita

Abstract

Diare akut umumnya terjadi pada anak-anak di negara berkembang, merupakan penyakit kedua penyebab mortalitas dan morbiditas pada anak setelah ISPA terutama bagi Negara berkembang. Setiap tahun mempengaruhi 3 sampai 5 miliar anak di seluruh dunia dan bertanggung jawab atas 12% kematian pada anak kurang dari 5 tahun setiap tahun. Diare akut sering ditemukan di daerah dengan akses kesehatan yang terbatas, air bersih yang sulit didapatkan, dan sanitasi yang kurang memadai, terutama di negara berpendapatan rendah dan menengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan memperbaharui pengetahuan terkait faktor risiko diare akut pada anak sebagai langkah preventif dalam upaya memberantas atau mengurangi angka kejadian diare. Penelitian merupakan Systematic review menggunakan referensi Google Scholars, PubMed dan ScienceDirect dari jurnal 5 tahun terakhir. Menggunakan format PICO untuk kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi artikel. Hasil telaah menunjukkan kebiasaan cuci tangan, kepemilikan jamban dan tempat pembuangan sampah merupakan faktor risiko terbanyak yang dapat menyebabkan diare akut pada balita. Kesimpulannya diare akut sangat berkaitan erat dengan lingkungan dan kebiasaan perilaku higiene.
