Pengaruh Pola Asupan Terhadap Status Gizi Pada Balita Usia 3-5 Tahun

Abstract

Status gizi balita merupakan salah satu parameter dalam menilai kecukupan asupan terhadap kebutuhan gizi dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan balita. Pola asupan makan akan menentukan pemenuhan nutrisi setiap harinya. Pengukuran status gizi dapat menggunakan standar antropometri meliputi berat badan dan tinggi badan yang dibandingkan berdasarkan usia balita. Pengukuran yang tepat dapat memberikan gambaran permasalahan gizi balita sejak dini sehingga penanganan dapat dilakukan lebih awal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asupan makan dengan status gizi pada balita usia 3-5 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan observational dengan desain cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di Posyandu Desa Paseraman, Kabupaten Sumenep pada periode Mei 2023 sampai Juli 2023 dengan melibatkan 106 balita. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner 24-hours recall yang kemudian dilakukan penilaian status gizi meliputi berat badan per usia (BB/U), berat badan per tinggi badan (BB/TB), tinggi badan per usia (TB/U), indeks massa tubuh per usia (IMT/U). Data yang telah diperoleh akan dilakukan kruskal-wallis untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara kelompok. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya perbedaan pada indeks BB/U, BB/TB dan IMT/U. Sedangkan pada indeks TB/U tidak memperlihatkan perbedaan. kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah penilaian pola asupan jangka pendek dapat memberikan gambaran perubahan berat badan dan kondisi gizi balita, namun belum dapat menilai perawakan balita.
